Larrie Carr is a experienced Professional Engineer with an extensive background in large system-on-chip (SoC) products.
Larrie's most recent position prior to founding Ripsand was as Principal Engineer in the Enterprise Storage Division at PMC-Sierra. He was responsible for system architectures as well as specification and development for SAS, SATA and Telecom products and solutions.
Over the 12 years at PMC-Sierra, he had been directly involved in the development of 12 mixed-signal devices and holds 9 patents in the area of data processing, digital phase lock loops and storage systems.
Larrie holds a B.A.Sc and a M.A.Sc in Electronic Engineering from Simon Fraser University. He is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
